What this site collects, and why
The short version: only what you type into one of our two forms, used only to answer you.
What we collect
The contact form: your name, email address, phone number, type of project, timeline, rough budget, your message, and the page you sent it from. Only your name and email are required.
The Behind the Build sign-up for architects and design professionals: your name, email address, firm, role, and which gathering you want to attend. Realtors reserve through Eventbrite, which has its own privacy policy.
That is all. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.
Why
To answer your enquiry or confirm your place at a gathering, and to follow up with you about it. We do not sell what you send us or share it with anyone for marketing.
Who handles it
- Our office. Each form sends us an email with what you entered.
- Resend (resend.com) delivers that email, and the automatic reply that goes back to you.
- Vercel (vercel.com) hosts this website. What you send passes through its servers, and like any web host it keeps technical logs of visits, such as your IP address and browser.
To keep spam out, each form carries a short-lived code and a hidden field. When a submission is turned away, we keep a one-line note of the reason - never what you wrote.
Other things on the site
- The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google’s servers for them.
- Videos come from YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and then it plays from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com).
- On What could I build here? the address you type is sent from our server to public map services - Oregon Metro, the US Census Bureau and the city or county zoning map - to look up the zoning, and the map comes from OpenStreetMap. This site does not save it.
How long we keep it
[Colby: how long the office keeps enquiry emails and lead-sheet rows, and when they are deleted]
Seeing or deleting what we hold
Email hello@strat.solutions or call 541.944.2681 and ask. We will tell you what we have and delete it from our inbox and records.
